The goal of the ‘Open Standards’ Special Interest Group (SIG) is to support the KNVI professionals by offering an independent set of standards that also meet predefined criteria.

This interest group also aligns perfectly with the other interest groups because standards of those topics will be included in the list such as Architecture, Management and Service Management, Information Management, Governance, etc.

In addition, the interest group aims to publish an open standards list that is open and freely accessible for consultation.
